About Splendor scoring

Splendor (Marc André, Space Cowboys, 2014) is a race: the end of the game is triggered as soon as a player reaches 15 prestige points, and the round is finished so that everyone has had the same number of turns. Points come from the development cards you buy (the number printed in the top corner) and from the noble tiles that visit you, worth 3 points each.

Because the total matters during play, not only at the end, the app scores Splendor live: tap the points as cards and nobles arrive, and the tracker tells you when someone has reached 15 and the game is ending.

If players tie on points, the one with fewer development cards wins. The app asks for the card counts only when that happens.

How Splendor is scored

Scored live during play: the game ends once a player reaches 15 points.

The rows below are the app's Splendor sheet, in the order of the game's score pad. "You enter" is the row's own explanation in the app; "Points" is what the app does with the entry.

  1. Development Cards

You enter: Prestige points on your purchased development cards.

    Points as entered.

  2. Nobles

You enter: Number of noble tiles you acquired.

Points: Each noble is worth 3 points.

  3. Development Cards Count

You enter: Number of development cards you purchased.

Points: Not added to the total; breaks ties only (lower wins).

Tiebreaker

If totals are equal, the player with the lower Development Cards Count wins. The app asks for a tiebreaker row only when a tie actually happens.
