Terms of Use – Board Game Score Sheet

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the “Board Game Score Sheet” app (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not distribute, modify, reproduce, or create derivative works of the App without explicit permission.

3. User-Provided Content

You are responsible for any content (scores, player names, game data) you enter into the App. You grant us the right to store this data locally on your device. The App does not collect or transmit this data to external servers. The only exception is the optional Request a Game feature, which sends the name of the requested game, the App version and a random request identifier to us; see the Privacy Policy for details.

The App provides an Export Data feature that creates a JSON backup file of your data, and an Import Data feature that allows you to restore data from a previously exported backup. You are solely responsible for the storage, security, and handling of any exported backup files. Importing data will replace all existing data in the App.

4. In-App Purchases

• The App offers optional In-App Purchase (IAP) features for enhanced functionality
• Prices are displayed before purchase
• Refunds are governed by your device’s app store platform (Apple App Store or Google Play)
• Purchased features are non-transferable and cannot be shared with other users
• Subscriptions do not automatically renew unless explicitly configured
• To cancel or manage purchases, visit your device’s app store account settings

5. Disclaimer Regarding Third-Party Games

This App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the publishers of the board games referenced herein, including but not limited to:

• 7 Wonders (Repos Production)
• Ark Nova (Feuerland Spiele)
• Wingspan (Stonemaier Games)
• Terraforming Mars (FryxGames)
• Splendor (Space Cowboys)
• Scrabble (Hasbro / Mattel)

All game names, trademarks, and intellectual property are the property of their respective publishers. This App is an independent utility for score tracking only.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Loss of data due to device failure, uninstallation, or user deletion
• Loss of data resulting from importing a backup file (importing replaces all existing data)
• Corruption, loss, or unauthorized access to exported backup files stored outside the App
• Interruptions or unavailability of the App
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Technical issues or bugs in the App

7. Warranty Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the App following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App, with or without cause, at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to its conflict of law principles. By using the App, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

12. Entire Agreement
