How SETI is scored

Scored once at the end of the game.

The rows below are the app's SETI sheet, in the order of the game's score pad. "You enter" is the row's own explanation in the app; "Points" is what the app does with the entry.

  1. Score Track

You enter: Enter your score on the scoring track after the fifth round, plus the value of your point token.

    Points as entered.

  2. End-of-Game Cards

You enter: Add up the gold boxes of the end-of-game scoring cards you played.

    Points as entered.

  3. Gold Scoring Tiles

For each tile you marked, enter the value under your marker times your sets.

  4. Gold Tile (Tech) · Tech

    Points as entered.

  5. Gold Tile (Mission) · Mission

    Points as entered.

  6. Gold Tile (Income) · Income

    Points as entered.

  7. Gold Tile (Other) · Other

    Points as entered.

  8. Exertians

Only when the Exertians are in the game. The penalty for the most danger is taken off automatically.

  9. Exertian Cards · Cards

You enter: Add up the points of the Exertian cards whose conditions you met.

    Points as entered.

  10. Danger

You enter: Add up the danger on your Exertian cards and from your markers on the Exertian board.

Points: The player with the most danger loses a tenth of their score, rounded down. Players level on the most all lose it.

Some points depend on how the players compare with each other. The app works them out across all players once every sheet is in.

Tiebreaker

The rulebook names no tiebreaker. Players with the same total share the place, and the app records the game as a tie.
