About Qwixx scoring
Qwixx (Steffen Benndorf, Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag, 2012, Spiel des Jahres nominee 2013) is a dice game in which everyone crosses out numbers in four colour rows. A table under the rows on the score pad gives the points for each number of crosses. Each new cross is worth one point more than the one before, so 1 to 5 crosses score 1, 3, 6, 10 and 15.
To cross out a row’s last number (red or yellow 12, green or blue 2), you need at least five crosses in it. You then also cross the lock symbol, and the row is locked for all players. The rulebook stresses that this cross counts, so a row you lock has at least seven crosses, worth 28 points or more.
Only the active player can take a penalty: if they cross out nothing in either action, they mark a penalty box (−5 points). The game ends at once when someone marks a fourth penalty box, or when a second row is locked.
The rulebook names no tiebreaker, so players with the same total share the place. The sheet follows the score pad of the original Qwixx: crosses per colour row, then the penalty boxes.
How Qwixx is scored
Once the game ends, each colour row scores by its number of crosses, from 1 point for one cross to 78 for twelve. The cross on a lock symbol counts as one of the row's crosses. The four rows are added up, and each crossed-out penalty box takes away 5 points.
The rows below are the app's Qwixx sheet, in the order of the game's score pad. "You enter" is the row's own explanation in the app; "Points" is what the app does with the entry.

You enter: Count the crosses in your red row. If you locked the row, the cross on the lock symbol counts as well.
