How Agricola is scored

Scored once at the end of the game.

The rows below are the app's Agricola sheet, in the order of the game's score pad. "You enter" is the row's own explanation in the app; "Points" is what the app does with the entry.

  1. Fields and Pastures
  2. Fields

You enter: Enter how many Field tiles you have, regardless of whether the Field contains Crops.

Points by the number of fields:

    • 0–1 fields → −1 pt
    • 2 fields → 1 pt
    • 3 fields → 2 pts
    • 4 fields → 3 pts
    • 5 or more fields → 4 pts
  3. Pastures

You enter: Enter how many Pastures you have - the number of Pastures, not the number of spaces of pasture. The size of each Pasture does not matter, and it does not matter whether there are animals in it.

Points by the number of pastures:

    • 0 pastures → −1 pt
    • 1 pasture → 1 pt
    • 2 pastures → 2 pts
    • 3 pastures → 3 pts
    • 4 or more pastures → 4 pts
  4. Rooms

Enter how many rooms your house has.

  5. Clay Rooms

Points: Each room is worth 1 point.

  6. Stone Rooms

Points: Each room is worth 2 points.

  7. People

You enter: Enter how many People are in your house, including the starting 2.

Points: Each person is worth 3 points.

  8. Grain and Vegetables

Enter how much Grain and how many Vegetables you have. These Crops may be in your personal supply or on fields. Crops on cards do not count unless the card identifies itself as a Field, or states explicitly that these crops belong to you.

  9. Grain

Points by the number of grain:

    • 0 grain → −1 pt
    • 1–3 grain → 1 pt
    • 4–5 grain → 2 pts
    • 6–7 grain → 3 pts
    • 8 or more grain → 4 pts
  10. Vegetables

Points by the number of vegetables:

    • 0 vegetables → −1 pt
    • 1 vegetable → 1 pt
    • 2 vegetables → 2 pts
    • 3 vegetables → 3 pts
    • 4 or more vegetables → 4 pts
  11. Animals

Enter how many of each animal you have. Animals on cards count towards this scoring provided the card specifies the animal belongs to you. Animals on cards do not count if they are offered in exchange for a condition you have not met.

  12. Sheep

Points by the number of sheep:

    • 0 sheep → −1 pt
    • 1–3 sheep → 1 pt
    • 4–5 sheep → 2 pts
    • 6–7 sheep → 3 pts
    • 8 or more sheep → 4 pts
  13. Wild Boar

Points by the number of boar:

    • 0 boar → −1 pt
    • 1–2 boar → 1 pt
    • 3–4 boar → 2 pts
    • 5–6 boar → 3 pts
    • 7 or more boar → 4 pts
  14. Cattle

Points by the number of cattle:

    • 0 cattle → −1 pt
    • 1 cattle → 1 pt
    • 2–3 cattle → 2 pts
    • 4–5 cattle → 3 pts
    • 6 or more cattle → 4 pts
  15. Unused Farmyard Spaces

You enter: Enter how many Farmyard Spaces are unused. A space counts as used if it is covered by a room or field tile, is part of a pasture (directly or indirectly surrounded by fences), or contains a Stable. A space does not count as used just because a card effect placed animals or goods on it.

Points: Each space takes away 1 point.

  16. Stables in Pastures

You enter: Enter how many of your Stables stand in a Pasture.

Points by the number of stables:

    • 0 stables → 0 pts
    • 1 stable → 1 pt
    • 2 stables → 2 pts
    • 3 stables → 3 pts
    • 4 or more stables → 4 pts
  17. Cards and Begging Tokens
  18. Card Points

You enter: Add up the points printed on every Major and Minor Improvement you have played and enter the total here. Minor Improvements still in your hand score no points.

    Points as entered.

  19. Bonus Points

You enter: • Some cards have scoring criteria in their text that are conditional on your board state - calculate and score these points. • Some cards provided bonus points during the game - keep a note if you score them, and add them into final scoring. • Joinery, Pottery and Basketmakers Workshop allow you to exchange leftover Building Resources for points. You may only exchange resources from your personal supply. • Some cards cause you to lose points - subtract these.

    Points as entered.

  20. Begging Tokens

You enter: Enter how many Begging Tokens you have.

Points: Each token takes away 3 points.

  21. Building Resources

You enter: Number of Building Resources left in your personal supply at the end of the game. Resources you exchanged for points through Joinery, Pottery or the Basketmaker's Workshop are no longer in your supply and do not count.

Points: Not added to the total; breaks ties only.

Tiebreaker
