About Wingspan scoring
Wingspan (Elizabeth Hargrave, Stonemaier Games, 2019) ends after four rounds, and almost all of its points are counted at the end. Each player adds the points printed on their bird cards, the points earned by their bonus cards, their share of the four end-of-round goals, and then three counts that are worth 1 point each: eggs on bird cards, food cached on bird cards, and cards tucked under bird cards.
The end-of-round goals are the part that most often goes wrong at the table. They are scored at the end of each round on the goal board, and players use either the competitive side (places for first, second and third) or the “green” side that scores 1 point per matching item. The app simply takes the total each player collected on the goal board over the four rounds.
If two players finish with the same score, the one with more unused food tokens wins. If that is also equal, the game is a tie. The app asks for unused food only when it is needed.
The sheet follows the base game’s score pad. Expansion scoring that adds a row of its own, such as Oceania’s nectar or the Duet map of Wingspan Asia, is not covered.
