About Flip 7 scoring
Flip 7 (Eric Olsen, The Op Games, 2024) is a race to 200 points over several rounds. In turn, players “Hit” to take another card or “Stay” to bank their points. A second card with a number already in your line is a bust: you score nothing that round.
A round’s score starts with your number cards, worth 0 to 12 each. If you have the x2 card, double that sum, then add any +2 to +10 modifier cards. Seven unique number cards are a Flip 7: the round ends at once, and you score 15 bonus points. A common mistake is doubling everything: the publisher’s FAQ confirms that x2 never doubles the modifier cards or the 15-point bonus.
The game ends after the round in which at least one player reaches 200 points, and the player with the most points wins. The rulebook names no tiebreaker. The publisher’s FAQ covers a tie at the top: all players play more rounds until there is one winner. If the leaders are level when you finish the in-game sheet, the app offers another round. You may still finish as a tie.
The sheet has a single Points row, and you work out each round’s points from the cards. The in-game sheet adds the rounds up and marks any total of 200 or more. The end-of-game sheet takes each player’s final total.
